Soul Paint is a next-gen VR experience where your own emotions become immersive art. Narrated by Rosario Dawson and created by XR pioneers & BOLD Minds Sarah Ticho & Niki Smit, it uses body mapping, 3D drawing, and spatial movement to explore where you feel emotions in your body. Blending somatic therapy with immersive storytelling, this tech-powered ritual invites you to create, reflect, and connect through embodied data. A genre-defying fusion of neuroscience, wellness, and art—felt in your body, seen in virtual space.

#6 Cosmos in Focus: An immersive journey through the cosmos

Step into Cosmos in Focus and transform your surroundings into a virtual planetarium powered by Apple Vision Pro. Navigate freely through space or follow a guided journey to discover the James Webb Space Telescope’s most awe-inspiring findings. Witness the births and deaths of stars, ancient galaxies, and the warping of spacetime as you move seamlessly through an immersive, interactive cosmic landscape. Using intuitive controls and ultra-high resolution visuals, participants can experience the universe as never before — as both explorers and storytellers.

#7 Beyond My Skin - Self and Identity in the Phygital

What happens when your body merges with its digital double? Flavia Mazzanti’s interdisciplinary project opens a phygital space where physical boundaries and binary codes dissolve. Originated as an interactive installation and live performance, the project further developed into a Mixed Reality Experience where visitors can see the virtual bodies of two performers, previously recorded in real-time through motion capture technology, brought back to the physical environment. Through a series of temporal interventions in the cities of Vienna, São Paulo, and Tokyo, these abstract, virtual bodies are brought to different public spaces, questioning not only the boundaries between physical and virtual but also between public and private spaces.

#8 Neurable Brain Lab: Bridging Neurotechnology and Healthy Aging

Join us for an interactive demonstration where conference attendees will experience cutting-edge Brain-Computer-Interface (BCI) technology firsthand. Participants will wear Neurable's consumer-grade headphones to observe their real-time neural activity during cognitive tasks specifically designed to assess markers of brain health and aging resilience. Each interaction is personal, reflective and climate aware. It invites you to care for the forest as both learner and protector.

#10 GATE Space: Infrastructure for Orbit

What roads are to Earth, GATE Space is creating for space. This Austrian startup develops modular propulsion systems that let satellites maneuver and reposition themselves precisely in orbit. The exhibition offers exclusive insights into the emerging infrastructure beyond Earth. What does mobility in space look like? How does a satellite reach its orbit? And what could circular economy mean off-planet? GATE Space shows how the future of spaceflight is becoming agile and sustainable.

#11 The Rebirth of Hope: Tastes Decoded Into a Collective Melody

At a long table, guests are invited to explore their personal vision of hope—and express it in a single bite. This participatory ritual of Multisensory Hacking makes the intangible tangible. Each response generates synthetic data, processed by AI into a live musical composition through hyper-personalized communication. The experience culminates in a live performance on the inspiration stage at 5:30 pm, where individual emotion transforms into collective resonance. #12 The Bedtime Routine of the Future with MATR & Oscar Stories

Circular economy mattresses meet AI-powered storytelling. MATR and Oscar Stories are reshaping the bedtime routine of tomorrow. MATR offers sustainable comfort, while Oscar creates personalized stories shaped by voice, mood, and daily moments — brought to life by LORA, the first child-friendly AI language model developed in the DACH region. This collaboration between two Austrian startups blends technology, education, and imagination into a sensory experience that fosters connection and inspires new ways of winding down at the end of the day.

#13 21energy: Sustainable Bitcoin Heater

21energy is an innovative green tech company based in Innsbruck that combines heating technology with Bitcoin mining. The Bitcoin heaters, affectionately known as “Ofen,” use highly efficient ASIC processors that are switched on when heat is needed, generate Bitcoin, and use their waste heat directly to heat rooms. This means that every kilowatt hour is used twice – for heating and mining – which reduces heating costs, and generates income. The modular system is a cost-effective and ecological alternative to oil and gas heating systems. An app displays the temperature and hashrate and controls the device in real time. 21energy thus offers a sustainable, economical, and forward-looking solution at the interface of energy and financial technology.

Discover how used wine corks are transformed into something entirely new. From modular surfaces to sculptural forms, this recycled material opens up new possibilities for sustainable design, community spaces, and creative reuse. What begins in a bottle becomes something to touch, shape, and build with—from studio pieces to playgrounds in underserved neighborhoods.

From industry to investigation, digital twins and immersive tech are changing how we understand and solve complex scenarios. This VR experience offers exclusive insight into the digital evolution of forensic work at the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office. Based on real cases, it shows how crime scenes are reconstructed in virtual reality and how these tools are reshaping modern investigation. Good to know: this is the only crime scene that’s been gamified. A rare look behind the scenes of digital policing.

#17 The Alchemy of Trust: A Visual Dialogue Between Tech, Art, and Humanity

The Alchemy of Trust is a visual project that explores the future of trust. Through large-scale visuals, generative systems, and participatory media, it reimagines and portrays a future where trust breaks free, becoming decentralized, autonomous, secure, and fully democratic. While the collection looks ahead, it also creates space for genuine dialogue about our society’s current systems and structures, with the hope of sparking curiosity and thoughtful exploration.

#18 Shadowmap: The Sun for Everyone

The Sun is the greatest energy source in the Solar System and the foundation of all life on Earth. Given its significance, it is only logical to create a digital interface to it. Shadowmap is a global 3D digital twin that provides real-time visualization and analysis of sunlight, shade, and solar potential—supporting use cases in real estate, solar energy, urban planning, and wellbeing. Its intuitive interface and embeddable web technology allow seamless integration into existing websites and apps within minutes. Scalable by design, Shadowmap already reaches hundreds of thousands of users worldwide each month.

The BOLD Experience is a full-day innovation festival taking place for the first time on November 5, 2025, at Palais Auersperg in Vienna. It brings together innovators, companies, and creative minds from Austria and around the world – with the goal of actively shaping the future, exploring new ideas, and building connections.

The BOLD Experience is organized by the BOLD Community – an initiative of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

Everyone interested in innovation is welcome. Participation is free of charge, but pre-registration is required, as spots are limited. Pre-registration is already open, and ticket access information will follow in September.

• Inappropriate physical contact or any form of harassment.

• Sustained disruption of talks, workshops or other activities.

• Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.

What happens in case of a violation?

Participants who violate this Code of Conduct may be removed from the event at the discretion of the organizers.
