The Sun is the greatest energy source in the Solar System and the foundation of all life on Earth. Given its significance, it is only logical to create a digital interface to it. Shadowmap is a global 3D digital twin that provides real-time visualization and analysis of sunlight, shade, and solar potential—supporting use cases in real estate, solar energy, urban planning, and wellbeing. Its intuitive interface and embeddable web technology allow seamless integration into existing websites and apps within minutes. #7 Beyond My Skin - Self and Identity in the Phygital
What happens when your body merges with its digital double? Flavia Mazzanti’s interdisciplinary project opens a phygital space where physical boundaries and binary codes dissolve. Originated as an interactive installation and live performance, the project further developed into a Mixed Reality Experience where visitors can see the virtual bodies of two performers, previously recorded in real-time through motion capture technology, brought back to the physical environment. Through a series of temporal interventions in the cities of Vienna, São Paulo, and Tokyo, these abstract, virtual bodies are brought to different public spaces, questioning not only the boundaries between physical and virtual but also between public and private spaces.

#13 21energy: Sustainable Bitcoin Heater
21energy is an innovative green tech company based in Innsbruck that combines heating technology with Bitcoin mining. The Bitcoin heaters, affectionately known as “Ofen,” use highly efficient ASIC processors that are switched on when heat is needed, generate Bitcoin, and use their waste heat directly to heat rooms. This means that every kilowatt hour is used twice – for heating and mining – which reduces heating costs, and generates income. The modular system is a cost-effective and ecological alternative to oil and gas heating systems. An app displays the temperature and hashrate and controls the device in real time. 21energy thus offers a sustainable, economical, and forward-looking solution at the interface of energy and financial technology.
